Mühle’s heart is beating…

Hanslois, the host, was born in 1944 in Obergurgl. After attending a hotel and catering college he went out into the world. He came back to Obergurgl when he was 27 to work independently with his 2 brothers. He brought the Mühle where it is today – with lots of good ideas, his heart and his love for details. The spirited host and hiking-guide built a “never finished” lifework.

Sieglinde, the host, is originally from Lower Austria. At the beginning she was employed at the reception. Well, and then … she stayed … she is the calm person of the family. The reception is her area, she manages the hotel, the family and the household. Short – the spirit of the house.

Magdalena, born in 1984, is the eldest of three children. She is the mother of our little sunshine Phillipp.
She is also found in the Mühle … advertising, staff and wine.

   


Markus, born in 1987, is the creative top-chef. During his training he was one of the best trainees in Tyrol. In winter he cooks in the brand-new “Mühle kitchen”. Doesn’t matter if it’s meat, fish, sweet or sour – our Max always prepares best food and next to it he travels around the world.

Bibiana, born in 1992, attends at the moment a hotel and catering school where she learns everything about life in tourism. During her school holidays she already helps in the dining-room – you can never get enough practical experience!

Lucy is our Berner Senn Dog and our youngest family-member. She was born in 2004 and is happy when going out. Especially when the host puts on his hiking-clothes Lucy can’t wait to go.
